Espiritu Santo Island
Your Experience
Venture into the heart of the Sea of Cortez on an extraordinary journey to Espíritu Santo Island—an uninhabited sanctuary recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic natural treasures of La Paz. Located approximately 1.5 hours from the marina, this pristine archipelago is celebrated for its dramatic volcanic formations, secluded beaches, and remarkable biodiversity.
Your expedition begins with a scenic navigation across turquoise waters, where the desert meets the sea in a striking contrast of colors and textures. Along the way, you will pass through San Gabriel Bay, home to an elegant colony of frigate birds, and admire the island’s sculpted cliffs, hidden coves, and untouched landscapes.
At Los Islotes, a thriving colony of over 500 sea lions awaits. Here, you will have the opportunity to snorkel in crystal-clear waters, observing these curious and playful animals in their natural environment, alongside vibrant coral reefs and abundant marine life.
Following your snorkeling experience, we will continue to one of the island’s secluded beaches—an idyllic setting where a freshly prepared lunch will be served. Afterward, you may choose to unwind in complete tranquility, explore the shoreline, or take a gentle walk along desert trails.
This experience is designed as a true exploration—combining wildlife encounters, natural beauty, and moments of quiet connection with one of Mexico’s most extraordinary coastal environments.
