Important Information!
Weather & Sea Conditions
Your safety and overall experience are our highest priorities. On rare occasions, weather or sea conditions may not meet our standards for operating. In such cases, a cancellation may be necessary, typically determined 24–48 hours in advance. We kindly recommend maintaining a degree of flexibility within your itinerary to ensure the best possible experience.Exclusive Access to the Whale Shark Refuge Area
The whale shark area is a strictly regulated area, with access limited to just 14 vessels at any given time. Entry slots are assigned daily by federal authorities. While we are granted our preferred schedule in the vast majority of cases, occasional adjustments may occur, potentially resulting in a later departure time.Personalized Communication
To provide a seamless and attentive service, we kindly ask that your provided contact details remain accessible during your stay in La Paz. This allows us to promptly inform you of any updates or refinements to your schedule.A Natural, Unscripted Encounter
Each experience unfolds within a pristine and wild environment. Ocean conditions, visibility, and wildlife activity—including the presence and behavior of whale sharks—naturally vary from day to day. While sightings are frequent, each encounter is unique and cannot be precisely predicted. Occasionally, harmless jellyfish may also be present.Your Memories
A selection of photo and video moments from your experience will be shared with you within 2–3 days. Should you not receive your gallery within this timeframe, our team will be pleased to assist you.Environmental Regulations
In accordance with federal conservation guidelines, interactions with whale sharks are conducted exclusively at the surface while snorkeling. Freediving is not permitted, ensuring minimal impact on this extraordinary species and its habitat.

While prior swimming or snorkeling experience is not required, a certain level of ease in the water will enhance your enjoyment. Whale sharks often glide gently through the bay; however, at times they may move with greater speed, requiring moderate physical effort to fully appreciate the experience of swimming alongside them.
Please consider that according to Federal regulations, life jackets are mandatory during the swimming with sea lions.
